Dear parents,
Garden City High School’s Open House are scheduled for Thursday, August 10th from 5:00 to 7:00pm. We invite you to take advantage of this opportunity to understand your student’s class schedule as well as get acquainted with our outstanding staff.
Open House will provide families an opportunity to follow their student’s class schedule, meet teachers as well as talk with academy principals and guidance counselor. This program is designed to help further your understanding of our teachers’ expectations with regards to classroom assignments, behavior, homework, and evaluation processes. Student’s schedules for 10-12 grades will become available online through Skyward that evening. Freshmen and new students will receive paper copies. There will be guides and translators available to help provide information and direction if needed.
The first day of school for the 2017-18 school year will be Monday, August 14th, with a half-day orientation for freshman, sophomores and new students to GCHS. The first full day of school for all students is Tuesday, August 15th.
