The Board of Education at its August 14th meeting approved Justin Reich as the new head baseball coach for Garden City High School.
Justin Reich, social studies teacher at Horace J. Good Middle School, has been employed with the district since the 2011-2012 school year. Reich has been a successful assistant with the GCHS football, boys and girls basketball and softball programs. He was an integral part in the recent success of the softball program completing the year as third place finishers at the state tournament, the highest finish in the program’s history. He stood out in his management skills, coaching philosophy and ability to grow a program. Reich is taking over the program from long-time coach Bill Wilson who retired last year.
