First National Bank Honors FFA During National Farm Safety Week

The First National Bank of Syracuse contacted advisers Pat VenJohn and Melissa Hensley over the summer about making a donation to the Garden City FFA Chapter. The donation was in honor of their bank patrons, as First National is deeply rooted in the agricultural industry, with loan expertise in farming, ranching, and dairies. First National chose to present the chapter with the donation during National Farm Safety Week, and over 20 Garden City FFA members, along with their advisers, graciously accepted. The bank selected their local FFA chapter because The FFA Organization has been, and continues to be, the premier organization for leadership, personal growth, and career success through agricultural education. This donation substantiates that First National Bank is committed to the future of agriculture in southwest Kansas.
