The girls softball team swings into their season at a later date to be determined. Their first game of the season was previously scheduled for April 3rd but has recently been postponed due to inclement weather.

The Lady Buffs softball team will be hosting two games at home against Hays, varsity and junior varsity. Both teams will be traveling to Maize South on April 10th followed by Valley Center on the 13th.

A successful season is in store for the team as Hailey Dart, junior, takes place as pitcher after her older sister, Abby Dart, graduated. New members were added to the team as well, freshmen Abby Parr, and Gisselle Gutierrez.

The girls are anxious to start their season as they take on the road to state and regionals.

“We definitely need to work to get back to where we were last year,” Raegan Nordby, junior, said. “I’m most looking forward to winning regionals and making it to state for the third year in a row. I love the team bonds we have with each other.”
