It is time for a new heard of buffalo football players to take charge. As the 2018 football season comes to a close its time for the seniors of the team to think about their future plans. The class of 2019 will be missed on the football field. These seniors include Ryan Jarmer, Kaleb LaPointe, Khamde Pak, Ethan Crone, Ethan Martin, Tye Davis, Reece Morss, Jacob Partin, Josh Dowdy, Jager Vargas, Elijahblu Hernandez, Andrew Garcia, Elias Mejia, Saw Josh, and Hector Nunez.
“We grew a lot as a team this season,” Ryan Jarmer, senior said. “We got better and better as the season went on. Football has helped teach me discipline, mental toughness, and to not give up in tough situations. After college I do want to pursue football, however I am undecided on where I want to go to college. I want to go to school for athletic training or strength conditioning. I would major in sports science.”
Memories made this season will last a life time for these buffalo players.
“We had great potential but not enough experience,” Jacob Partin, senior said. “Football has molded me to be a better player on and off the field. I feel like it helped prepare me to work hard in what I dream to become.”
The future it starting to get real for these seniors as they decide what college they want to attend and what career course they are looking into.
“I have some interest in pursuing football after college,” Partin said. “I hope to go to a four year university. After college I want to continue with my dream of being in the military and eventually becoming a pilot.”
The underclass men on the team are looking forward to receiving the torch and being the new leaders of the team.
“Next year I am going to work my tail off,” Carlos Acosta, junior said. “Since it is my last year I am going to put my all into it, not just me but the whole team. We were a young team this year and it took several games for the young players to get used to playing at the high school level. Football has changed my character a lot. It has made me a better person.
