On the girls side of the hardcourt, 5-11 sophomore Keyhana Turner was tabbed to the first team all-WAC while senior Elyssa Salazar was chosen to the second team. The Lady Buffs finished the season as the 6A sub-state runner-up to Liberal with a 12-10 record. The Buffs went 3-5 in the WAC, sweeping Great Bend and splitting with Dodge City while falling twice each to Liberal and Hays.

Boys Basketball Season Wrap-Up
The Buffs, who just concluded the fifth-most successful season, record-wise, in school history with a 17-5 record, had two players – senior Kyler Lamb and junior Carlos Acosta – chosen to the all-WAC first team of five players from the five participating league schools.

Regan’s Jewelers adds sparkle

It is a family owned jewelry business that has been in operation for over 85 years on Main Street. Tim Regan picked the job up when his father retired in 1975 and he has managed the store since then.
New robotic creations

Polar Plunge postponed

This event will showcase participants jumping in freezing water appropriately named the polar plunge, the polar strut which is a one mile and 5K outdoor fun run, a polar party, and a costume contest with the theme “All Characters Welcome.”
