For GCHS students, faculty, administration and the Garden City community at-large, here are locations on the Internet to find information on Buffalo athletics.
First, reading here at 1herd.blog, will be daily updates from the previous day’s activities. Winter sports have just concluded and there are final stories here on boys swimming, boys and girls bowling, wrestling with upcoming basketball summaries next week.
Second, at the gchs.gckschools.com site, click on athletics and activities, then you can look for fall, winter or spring sports and click there to go to you favorite sport. There you will find schedules, results and rosters for most team sports.
In addition, last fall, the 5 Western Athletic Conference schools – Garden City, Dodge City, Hays, Great Bend and Liberal – launched a new website at http://www.wacathletics.com. That site includes stories about each sport’s Players of the Year, listing the all-conference teams for each sport with an update on the Champions Cup competition as well as a history looking back at the WAC since it was established in the early 1980s.
